I have decided to part with my baby. It is a 1987 SWB 2wd silverado. I have had this truck for several years. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in it and drive to California. Everything in it works as it should including the clock and cruise control. The bed is in amazing shape and has over 95% of its original paint. Te seat has new factory style upholstry from LMC. The carpet is faded and could use replacing. (I may do this before it sells). The dash has a few cracks, but it has the matching blue dash cover from LMC. The factory stereo is still in place and works fine. The interior is nice, I am nit-picking. Want to be as honest as possible. The drivers window works great, the passenger is SLOW! The paint is good for a 22 year old truck, but not perfect. Absolutely ZERO rust! The truck has a TBI 305 with 700r4 and 373 rear gears. Fairly new uniroyal tires. Runs like a top and uses no oil. It has dual tanks and they both work like they should.

I really hate to sell it, but I need a 3/4 ton to tow with. I love driving this truck, it gets lots of thumbs up!

I would really like to get $6000 for her, but I am open to offers.

Yeah, I've come close several times to putting a 350 in it, but it runs too good to mess with it!

Just out of curiousity what kind of fuel milage do you get with it being a 305?

No better than a 350. Around 17 or so.

Still, not too shabby. I wish my 06' 2500 HD 6.0L standard can LB 2wd pickup got that, but the 4:10's just kill gas milage. I get 10 to 12 max. Should have just put a motor in my burb and been done with car payments damnit, but Now I'm stuck with it, ohwell. wanna trade, you take over payments j/k.
