SAWEEEEET! im hopefully gonna be picking up my 14 456 and detroited here pretty quickly, im jealous.

our build stories are almost exactally the same lol. i bought a completely stock 87 blazer last year when i was 17. i didnt like the 2 tone blue paint at first, but it grew on me and now i love it. drove it all summer till i sold my car and had enough saved to lift it. over the winter i put a total of 10" lift on it with 38.5 boggers. its still an on going project, between new axles, shackle flip and longer shackles, the list goes on and on. anyway, i really like the truck. really clean lookin and has a nice stance. how well do those 38's fit? :eek1: its too bad we're at complete ends of the country, we could've met and wheeled sometime :D

I'd say just cut to fit, but I'm guessing the paint is a little too nice for that? A zero rate and 4in should clear those tires. Maybe a one inch dare I say it body lift?

I think its time for a d60 with those tires though...

oh my paints toast the hood is rusty along with the roof . never doin a body lift, i cut the fenders pretty much to where i want them in the front, but i still have to do the rear, i think im just gonna do the zero rates

I'd say another 2" all around would clear those 38s. Truck looks good, i like the two tone.
yea im thinkin so, 6in springs front, 2in springs in the rea! i realized with the 8* shim and the zero rates it would be a little goofy and id need to get new ubolts, but goin bigger entails getting a new driveshaft, anyone know the parts ill need to get, so i can make one?

what tcase and crap are you runnin? if its still the 208 you can get a 3/4 ton suburban driveshaft and cut it down to fit. 1350 ujoints and i just so happen to have one. i did it on my blazer and its pretty good, 4 inch tube i think.
