$7650 as is or $6150 if you bring your tires and wheels

350 w/edelbrock performer package (camshaft,intake,750 electric choke carb)
Th350 transmission rebuilt years ago but has little mileage and works fine.
NP205 cast iron gear/gear transfer case (both transmission and tranfer case
from 1972 K2500)
14 bolt corporate RR/Dana 60 Front AXLES 4.56:1 gears and Detroit locker in rear.
Front is CUCV axle and RR is Cucv Center section and pinion section.
Rear has home built Disk brakes (utilizes Front re-drilled backing plates
custom spacers, front 3/4 ton calipers/pads so parts are easy to get.
CUCV lockouts still in use w/new Chrome caps and work great.

The GOOD
Frame/chassis and underbody sprayed with black Epoxy Paint (very durable)
All new GM sheetmetal when project began including
Both box sides
Both Doors
Both fenders
Hood
Tail Gate
NoN GM New metal ('cause you can't get it)
ROckers
Cab corners
PPG Base Coat/Clear Coat sovereign blue metallic Paint Sprayed July of 2000 (Fleet Color
peterbuilt,kenworth?)
Drop Bumper 10" or 12"
Stock front bumper custom raised for body lift
3"body lift
6" custom suspension started with all leaf skyjacker suspension. Removed
2 leaves from front, Removed 2 leaves from Rear. Hill Offroad front shackles
Off Road Design Zero rate springs added in rear. Front Sway bar has been
modified with shackles instead of bolting directly to spring plates. This makes
big difference in ride quality but still handles as good as it would boltet
to stock location. This Truck really does ride better than any other truck
of this type I have been in!! Has Dropped Drag Link. Done Right!!
Pro-comp MX-6 6 way adjustable mono-tube shocks on custom mounts
in front for overly long shochk for increased articulation.
37x12.50x16 swampers on Eagle Alloy Series 102 wheels
New seals/bearing/races were installed in front axle when swapped in.
4 core radiator for 454 as that is what I had in this truck before.
Flex-a-Lite Black Magic electric fan.
Never been off road since body/paint
Smittybuilt Side bars also raised to match body lift

The Bad
Couple small chips in paint. See photo showing fuel Door. you can
see door rubs the set in on box side when closing and has chipped
the paint on the hinge side Could easily touch up. I did use this truck
as My daily driver for 7-8 months in 2002 and it does have couple of
other small chips as well but very minor.
350 Engine came from another project after 454 piston broke. I procurred the
350 engine from another project truck which I had previously been driving and had
given my to stepdad as a plow truck. The previous owner indicated it had
been completely rebuilt w/edelbrock package(he had receipts). It overheated shortly
after given to stepdad. This found was due to Blown head gasket which I now believed was
due to reusing heads which were not reconditioned in any way from what I could
see (were also light castings). I replaced the heads with a set from a 400sbc (these were heavy castings)
with very low hours a friend had after removing them in favor of aluminum edelbrocks. New high
quality gaskets were use along with New Head bolts before installation in
this truck. when putting the heads On I did notice that the short block had
been rebuilt as it had oversized pistons and was very clean. I think they just
got cheap and did nothing with the heads and unfortunately I had to replace
them. Engine ran great before head gasket went and runs great now Just thougt
anybody considering would want to know all the facts.
Transmission lines work fine but look like pretzels.
very, very small ding in drop bumper hard to notice as it dings from underside
out.
I planned on having a spray in beadliner but have never gotten it done therefore
the bed is unfinished inside. only has epoxy primer see picture.
This truck was a manual transmission truck I removed in favor of automatic
however I did not replace narrow brake pedal with wide one you would normally
have on an automatic truck. Clutch interlock is still in place always thought it
made a good theft deterrant device.
Transfer Case shifter was never re-installed after project completed but
I can crawl underneath to put in 4x4 if someone comes to check it out.
I do have shifter.
Front driveshaft has a little slop too it at the spline but nothing major I
have seen much worse and still working.
There is still a hole in firewall where ECM harness passed through I
never plugged this as I always planned on installing Holley Pro-Jection
fuel injection sytem and would have re-used the hole for harness. It never
bothered me so it is left open, Can easily plug with a rubber plug.
Last time I made suspension changes and I put new U bolts in (again!) I got
lazy and did not paint them so they look rusty. Just need some touch up
paint.
Interior is not perfect (see pics). If I were still into this project I would
replace the seat belts as I tried to die them to match the new interior color.
Although they work they did not turn out as well as I had hoped. They are stiff from the dying. Also Dash duct close-outs need to be installed. I have some from a suburban they would go with the truck.

What I need for it
This is a Must see if you like this era truck $7650 as is or $6150 if you bring
your tires and wheels. I hate to sell but it just sits in my pole barn. Only outside ,cause I am currently building workshop in barn. No rust period as this truck has not been driven in winter since new metal and paint. I have owned this truck since winter '93/'94 so it has been with me a long time!! Have more pictures PM me or E-mail [email protected] I have 29 pictures and can get you more if needed

I must say, that is a beautiful truck and if I had the cash I would be on a plane right now flying to Michigan. That color is very similar to what I had on my 2001 Peterbilt.

Engine compartment Pics

Thanks for all for the positive comments. I still plan to post some Engine compartment Pics on the picture site, however I have been set back in doing so by a wintery stormy week here in Michigan.
