I'm just bustin his nads.... It was funny the first dozen times... :wink1:

Just sold my 10 bolts for $400... :wink1:

Well, the truck goes on the back burner pretty much for the next few weeks, gonna concentrate on geting the dash production going... Not to mention, I have no money for parts right now anyway!

I did go down last night and finalize the rock slider plan. Also started to figure out where and how I'm going to section the sheetmetal at the wells.. I'll wait to finalize/start that when I see how much lower she sits and where the axles end up at...

Got my other bay back for a week or 2, nice to have that extra room in the shop again... For as much as I'm not into chrome, the rims have actually grown on me a bit... :haha: They'll be going black tho, or getting changed out... Couple last poser shots here.....

yup, all paint work is done in my 2 car garage... I'd guess I've painted about 50 in there...

sheet plastic, center wall, top and bottom wrapped in lumber to secure/anchor it, to split the 2 bays.... the "paint booth" is the one the truck is not in... easier to clean, rinse.. I'll usually blow the whole shop out a few days before.. I cook the shop all night.... shut the heat off in the morn.. spritz the walls and floor with the water hose... turn the fan on, wait a 1/2 hr, then squirt..

I have 2 windows on the wall in the booth, intake and exhaust. they both get the furnace filter treatment, I do the exhaust one so it catches the majority of the overspray...

the truck'll eventually get a final wetsand and overcoat.. But for now, it'll roll out of the shop spotprimed in the well areas from the sectioning project...

Gotta love hacking up brand new sheetmetal!:eek1: :haha:

Looks like a lot of fun going on there I wish I had a shop. Right now my crew cab is sitting with about 2.5 feet of snow on and around it. One quick question though I have an extra set of non chrome mirrors do you need them? They have some crappy silver mexi-chrome paint on them that would need sanded off and repainted but Im sure you would want them black to match the rest. Just let me know Ill box em up and send them to ya just for cost of shipping.

Thanks for the information. I may be setting up something like this when I get ready, since the cost of renting a paint booth kinda kills the cheap part of the paintjob.

I am pretty certain the mirrors I have are in good shape both tin and glass. I will double check tomorrow. They was on a 2wd and the only reason I took them off was because they just looked huge on it. If i remember right they have big stick on spot mirrors if so ill leave them and you can remove them if you see fit. The only other thing is im not sure i have the 6 bolts and 2 screws but Ill look around.

Ill keep ya posted

The parts pile grows...
