I have to say that I really like the orange. Not so much the orange and black but definetly the orange. But I get alot of great pumpkin jokes at my expense and adding black to the truck or my toolbox would only add to the jokes.
As always you have upped the bar a little more, and allowing us to follow your build has encouraged me (at least) to upgrade the fab work I have planned for my project.
And from those of us that can only afford to "web wheel" for now, I say Thank You.

went back and looked at the pics. I think i can see what you're sayin. yeah, and let me try to see if I can kinda clear up my train of thought on the build for you guys..
one of the main reasons you see me going, I guess overboard on some things, from coatings to electrical to masking off a couple covers is the thought I have about the time frame..
i KNOW the truck wont come out till april/may, so I gauge what I think I can get away with labor-wise between now and then... if i think I have the time to go overboard, I will..
it's not the labor, its the money...
and for the record, a big thanks to everyone who has dug what I build, most peeps don't understand, and I really appreciate the props from people that do get it.....

yup.. it just had that feel with the razors going over it... not trying to make it look like a bolt-on, its just where I derived the scheme...
excuse the ole body guy, I get concepts in my head and god only knows where they come from!

know what you mean. I was lookin at an old drawing i had for a paint scheme on a FJ i made a couple years ago and i think i'm going to incorporate it onto my Blazer. Personally i like it but who knows what others are gonna think.

well, blazer bodylines could definitely work with something like that.. and hey, it is all about what YOU like... I think my build is a pretty good example of that...
I just want a little of the orange showing, not too much... just shackles and the covers and x-over being the only stuff you notice...

really like the time and detail your putting into the truck. Wish i could slow down and have the money/time to do things like that! keep up good work!
Wow dude...it's been many months since I read this thread. I had no idea you had done 1/10th of what you have so far. I'm extremely impressed, and I may bug you in a few months when I finally get started on the 6 Pack build.
I'm sure that orange looks a lot better in person. I have tried photographing many things and had similar weird color results from the flash. Most camera's are stupid that way. One thing I try to do is just set up some good lighting and snap the pic with the flash turned off.
