definitely get back to healthy first then work on the truck.it doesnt help to be sick and trying to do something to the truck that may make it worse.wish you a speedy recovery.

well, I just spent 9 hrs in the hospital..... and to my relief, apparently I'm pretty fubared, but not dieing... :wink1:

little background... as some may know, I had a heart attack about 8 yrs ago, and a stent put in... well, I abused myself, started smoking again, bad diet, the whole nine yards... :(

I've been having probs with my hand numbing out at night, pains in that arm, tweaks in my neck and a few other ailments... I was pretty certain I had had another heart attack, or possibly a stroke to some extent at some point in the last couple months...

turns out the numbness appears to be carpal tunnel, and my neck has some arthritis going on.. so it was a combination of ailments that had all the signs to me, of a circulation prob...

after a battery of tests, when the smoking hot ER nurse said i had carpel tunnel, I just laughed... I can deal with that, heck my knees are destroyed... probably a horrible thing for a wrench-turner like me, but at least my heart wasn't ready to explode! :haha:

lesson learned tho.... :bow: i'll go to that cardio appointment thurs and get back on all the meds I should be on... :deal:

i wanna thank you guys for the concern, nice to know I have friends and I'm not just another pretty build... :wink1:

After all if you weren't around who is going to supply us with awesome idea's and show us what incredible fab work should look like ;)

I use this at work, been running one for about 14 months with no problems at all. Does get hot on the outside so dont set anything on it.

Hello you already had one thought you had another think its about time you got your act together and stop the destructive behavior and took care of yourselve physically.

well, like i said, lesson learned.... I had already made that commitment back when i quit smoking some time back... the diet too... for about 4 months now, I've been on the strictest of diets.... i was just scared it was too late, now I can resume the clean living with gusto...

sweet.... yeah, hopefully Jag can work me up a nice deal on a killer setup... I actually think cooling will be no issue whatsoever... if i put that in the box with plenty of fan cfm's blowing over it, that should pull tons of heat away from the unit.. and from understanding, those units usually dont have that benefit and are in sealed boxes often...
 
yeah it sits under my desk with no air around it really at all and has been flawless. Load thousands of yards of concrete with it. :D

holy chit, thats funny, and quite perceptive... :bow: my mom was just saying the same exact thing to me on the phone not 5 minutes ago.... :haha:

the minute the babe doc said it was carpal tunnel, I immediately felt much better..... broken bone type chit is no big deal, it was that other stuff that had me so worried... :doah:

looks like I'm outta work till the new year at least.. i'll have to see what the ortho says... not sure how much "hardcore" work I'll be doing on the truck, but at least I'll have some time off to fart around down there...

hopefully I can get my gears/detroit ordered in the next couple weeks... I'm anxious to get my axles hung and get the truck back down on some rubber...
