neither got painted.. the cage is ready, I have the paint, but i wanna wait till sunday so i can clear it the same day.. i've been patient this long, couple more days isn't gonna kill me ..

My workshop jones is getting pretty desperate these days.... I think Paul's next round of photos is going to push me over the edge!

Its like a bunch of sharks circling a sinking ship, and one guy already fell in....
Can't wait to see the progress this will make. I know the feeling of accomplishment when you a big part of the build done. The feeling that your are big step closer to being able to driving it again. I would say end but I think they will always be a work in progress.

quick ironic tale.... most in here know how i hate autozone.... but they are the ones that carry the orange engine enamel for the drivetrain and cage.... so i stopped in to pick up a few more cans and cleaned the shelf again... i have 11 cans now... but i'm betting i'll need a few more by the end.... it's the ONLY thing i've ever bought in there, and i buy every damn one they stock....

thus why I bought the new respirator this morn....
rattlecans can be brutal when in volume... went thru 8 cans... I swear it smells worse down there then when I shoot Imron.... which I'll be doing in a few hrs when I clear that out.... house is gonna be wreaking for days.....

here's a couple cleared, hazy fume shots... you can see the orange a bit better now....

That looks even better, even like that color on there. I think it's going to look really sweet with the black. Great job.
it was interesting, i'll say that... reminded me of shooting mixers... lot of angles.. 
it really did come out pretty sweet, like balls on smooth too....
the nice thing is it will be waaaaay tougher and clean up better now than just the rattlecan.. easier to repair too...
