hopefully I can blow it out of my system here before it actually gets bad.. a week off would not be good on my bank account, got no time built up right now..

That's a jam-up use of your space. It will be a nice change I'm sure-being able to keep all the dust contained in one area. Can't wait to see the next awesome creation you turn out of your talent lab.

That's like the difference between having a son or a daughter...

with a son you have one penis to worry about, with a daughter, you have all of the penis' to worry about.:doah:

do you think the wipers will fit between the open hood and windshield?
maybe a circuit switch on the hood to prevent wiper op when hood is up?
If it was me I would surely open the hood while the wipers were running and fok it all up...:dunno:

I like the backing plate w/ nuts on them for the springs...its so nice to have a secured nut, and not have to fish around to put a washer and nut on in a tight space.

thanks mang... yeah, I'm sooo stoked on it.. the lab getting so dusty after that nice clean up was annoying the he!! out of me... I'm thinking this may work really well... didn't have the doors in stock, had to order a couple...

the next "fun" work on this rig, meaning something entertaining will probably be the back bumper... got a couple original ideas for that...

I don't even think it'll be needed... pretty sure the wipers will clear even with the hood open.. and honestly, I can't ever remember having a hood open and the car wipers on before at the same time.. :haha:

K5 purchase list...

primer/paint
inadvertant tube order
windshield
cowl gauges

ummm, suspension things... :doah: :eek1:

Only a couple huh? I highly doubt you've only got a couple of ideas, but if that's true, I'd put good money down they'll be next-level bad@$$.

Now, get over the crud and get back to servicing some out drives. You gots metal to buy and I'm already Jones'in for some pic ho'in of your next fab clinic.

yeah, i was back today.. but i did blow out an hr early, still feel like cr@p..

eh, whatever, toys and tube need to be bought! :grind::weld::saweet:

I've made many a temp booth for painting boats with frames and shrinkwrap.... neat stuff..

the nice thing about the shrink is that I always have tons of it around, so if it gets skanky at some point, redoing it is easy peezy now that it has firring strips on the ceiling...

oh, and I lost the flu battle, been sick as a dog all week... worked about 10 hrs this week... I know I'm sick when I have no desire to be down in the Lab, and prefer sleeping on the couch all day... :doah: hopefully by sunday I'll be feeling better...

eh, just as easy and good with clear plastic from homo depot, I've done many a booth like that in the past.... $20 in wood and a $10 roll of plastic... I would often just do a U cut in the plastic, and have a hanging door that way...

I'm stoked on it tho... It must be the projects I do, but I'm always making huge dust clouds, piles of grinding dust, etc.. I'm hoping this really makes the shop more managable and clean without becoming a logistic nightmare...

it just started, about an inch.. they're saying 6, so I may have an excuse to use 4 wd tomorrow... me and my 101 fever may be down plowing the marina in the morn.. :doah:

Man that sucks dude. Hope you get better. This snow at least wasn't too bad. I was down in your area yesterday. Middletown shop rite delivery. I can see a ton of boats in the marinas that have tons of damage. Some buildings only half ßtay ding. Didn't really see sandys damage til you drive through where it hit. Live your dirt booth idea. Should keep most of the crap out of the other side when you need it. Tracking it around on your feet and cloths is going to be the hardest to stop.

thank ya sir! :D

anyone who hasn't voted for something in the new poll, please do.. I really appreciate your opinions!
