I have my "done" filters on..

I look at those 2 pics and see it with a fresh crumbly floor, the glove/kick done, a windshield, column and harness's, touchscreen and fresh door panels... :haha:

I like it.
Looks good.
But it is all about what you want for yourself.

Those pics really bring it home! Your dash turned out so nice...and no more cracks ever! :waytogo:

The built not bought is about perfect for your blazer.

Light up is a bit distracting, but I can sure appreciate the work put into it. And it does look cool!

Your hand throttle is much nicer than my 10 speed shifter mounted to the auto shift handle in my truck! :haha:

I like that I can throw a pencil up there and it wont roll into the crack of doom.. :haha:

and just picture the plexi in all shiny black, should blend very well for driving...

than ya need a map light, ya turn on some cool 2 color one... more subtle than the lettering...

Don't worry you have at least one fan of the LED/plexi dash panel, custom LED stuff is awesome I'm converting my Duramax dash to blue slowly.

And your twist throttle where did you find yours? I can get them at work for sprayers but they're serious $$$$. Should definitely be handy for cruise/trail use.

I got mine free from the marina.. it was a new, unused control for our travellift..

McMaster carr carries them under precision push/pull control cables...

but I could of swore when I looked it up last time, the pic was exactly like mine.. now the pic and a couple specs seem different, I think it functions the same....

but the price was about the same.. surprisingly cheap I thought... like $35, 40...

I was expecting to see $75, 80...

Thanks for the link! That's substantially better than the $300 or so from AGCO.

Man Paul, things are looking pretty ****ing AWESOME!

It's been a bit since I've been around, but it's good to see progress still being made!

Hope your body is holding up for ya!

The crack of doom! :haha::haha: I found a pair of side cutters some zip ties and some 22 bullets under my dash pad when I pulled it out the last time.

Yeah! Wicked map light! :pimp:

so..

with as over the top as this rig was gonna be, I've made a concerted effort to use lot's of satin black. maintaining the copper, red and black theme.. very little silver...

well.... enter the most frivolous purchase eva... :woot:  :doah: :haha:

my weakness for plain billet vc's bit me a couple weeks ago when a tall set came up.....

the tall definitely look a bit more "stout".... couldn't pass em up..

worked on the glove box today... of course it has it's own set of demands for me to work with...

basing everything off of a couple scraps left of factory sheetmetal, custom latch, hinge, structure, weatherstripping, lights, plunger switch, yada, pain, etc...

I decided I don't "need" to do the lower kick yet.... but getting the smoked door in is challenging enough...

oh, and I want a thicker plexi door, but am having trouble finding it smoked..

for Trucks I like the plain valve covers...if I had a muscle car I might put on something that has a design on it...but mostly I like clean design and clean lines

I am generally NOT a fan of ballmilled, engraved, logo's, etc on vc's and air cleaners... on anything... I like clean polished alum... maybe a simple anodized moroso, or a fabbed set, that's about it..

I really really wanted to run those Moroso carbon fiber's.. thought that would be a neat, original look.. they don't make em anymore...

I'm actually thinking when I'm 70oddeleventydead and I'm on #1237 of the priority list and I decide to do a new fancy gasket matched higher flowing intake, I'll get one of the edelbrocks done in that black they do now...

oh, and red Made for You wire seperators like Mutt..

found the plexi... 3/8 seems to be the ticket over the 1/4" me thinks...

yup, they don't make em in center bolt sb... tho the ones I wanted where the red/black...
