'87 Suburban Build "munepit" I'm Back! Missed all you guys!

I need a matching sticker for this switch. It's my LED light bar. I guess I will call 12 volt guy tomorrow.

The window didn't show up yesterday. Today he was 4hrs late. Brought the wrong windshield. Went and got the right one. Brought the wrong seal. Have to order it. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon. Fock!

I am having a blast beating this up! I just want to get it dialed in and running perfect. I care less about the body. Every time I drive it it gets skinnier. It's needs it. I still can't make most o's the local trails because it's too wide. But I'm working on it.

I sure do get some jaw dropping looks when driving in town. It's kinda funny.

Th only straight panel is the tailgate. But it won't open. Haven't been able to open it since I rolled it. The rear corner pile is smashed against it. Need to work on that. I would hate to get a flat and have to get access to the spare in the back.

The passenger front door is pretty straight, not perfect, but the second best panel on the rig. I will have to work on that matching the rest of it.

For how much I hate ruining sheet metal... Yes that door needs dents. My OCD is FREEKING OUT!!! :haha:

Anybody know how these wires fork for the turn signals? I need smaller turn signals. I bought these smaller cheap running lights. I soldered a negative wire on because it didn't come with one. Maybe that's my problem. These weren't made for signals. I have two wires on the light and the three factory. I guess the third wire is for constant on when the head lights are on. I don't need that.

What is the best option. Thanks fellas!!!

The factory wires.

And the light.

you don't have a multimeter? Find out what wire gets power when the blinker is on. But you really should do some kind of running light :)

Well. I do have a multimeter. Forgot about that. Since I cut the bulb off they don't blink anymore. Just stay on when the signal is activated. I will be working on the rig all weekend. I'm sure I will figure it out.

Or do what I did

Give up and just ziptie the factory bulb holder to the core support and drink a beer :D

I hated having the blinker attached to the grill. You don't want to try a trailer or RV place for some nice LED lights with 3 wire hookup?

You need two of those.

Both the turn signal wires are power one for running lights and one for turn signals.

I had to run two of those exact same lights. To get mine to work.

Blue is your stock turn signal wire, grey is for your lights when you turn them on and of course black is for the ground.

I'm not the best info here but all your signal lights have to work for them to actually blink, also.

Well crap. I went to tractor supply and two junkyards this morning. Couldn't find a decent pair of 3 wire signal lights. I might have to just re connect the light and leave it. It will probably be broken soon anyways.
