'87 Suburban Build "munepit" I'm Back! Missed all you guys!

So wish I could. Our 4 month old son is the fockin devil!!! He only sleeps 30 minutes at a time. Its killing us. No way I could leave right now. Maybe in a few months though. I need a break. I will tell the wife I'm going for training.

I will tell the wife I'm going for training.

That's what I'm talkin about right there!

All you married guys need to say it's for training like this guy.

Don't worry the stripper glitter washes off for the most part.

Don't worry the stripper glitter washes off for the most part.

Why?
When I need, or want a break, I tell my wife I am going.
When I WANT to buy something I buy it. No need to even tell her.
Why would a man hide behind a lie?

Because most women folk aren't very understanding with our decisions if it's not something specifically romantically aimed at them.

"It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission."

So it's easier not to tell her like I do.
I only tell her where I am going so she knows in case something happens.
If I ever do something she doesn't like and finds out, like you said it's easier to beg for forgiveness.:D

When I go to Vegas, She knows what I will be doing!!!!!! Golf, Gambling, Drinking and strippers. She knows this!!!!

I just don't want to leave her with our devil right now. She would go crazy. Later though!!!!!!!

Going through the same thing with our 3 month old dude. Good luck

Thanks man. It sure is hard.

I'm going to be playing on some cars tomorrow!!! 4WheelParts is having a deal. Some big sale where they say they are discounting stuff, but they don't really. But there will be some cars to play on. Gotta go early due to my daughter being the flower girl in a wedding in the afternoon.

Pics and video tomorrow!:thumb:

I got so lucky with my kids, they both slept all night and never woke up. In that respect I feel so blessed. But they are making up for it now I will admit. A 8yr and 5yr old is an army to be reckoned with.

Ha, I bet. I'm having fun with them though. I drink a lot more beer, wine vodka and whiskey now!!!

Just got back. No video. Just pics after. I pretty much destroyed the cars. I was first on them. Those A,B and C pillars are strong! I wish the motors were in the cars, they leave a nice hole to swallow a 42. By the time I was done, I had moved the cars about 20' or so. You can see where I tore up the parking lot.

Then I ended on the RTI ramp to test shocks. I need to do some adjusting. They are 14" shocks.

Here is a close up of the harmonic balancer and engine crossmember. They are touching. Don't know if it has to do with the bend frame or what. Might have to get a different crossmember.

There was about ten people getting up close to check out the rig. Someone let me know. They couldn't believe how much this rig flexes.

Your motor mounts are probably bad. My BB does the same thing. Im going with ORD or similar poly mounts to deal with it and be done.

I put in new motor mounts in when I installed the new motor in 2010. 3 years ago, but only about 1000 miles. Very hard miles though. I will start looking for a new crossmember. Thanks..

One more pic.

That's cool Jeff, I gotta get me a couple winter beaters after this winter to put out back somewhere....just for that reason!

Are you talking cars to play on? Because the Burb is a beater for sure. I beat the chit out of her!!

I put in new motor mounts

If they were rubber ... eh. They may not be new any more :haha:

I highly recommend poly motor mounts and one of the aftermarket crossmembers (ORD, DIY4X, whoever).

When your harmonic balancer becomes a harmonic unbalancer, it sucks. Been there done that.

I love your burb Jeff.

Its such a bad ass rig. I love it I love it.
Looks cool up the ramp too.

I'm afraid if our burbs ever hung out....one may not make it back alive

I'd get some of the diy4x poly engine mounts. They picked my engine up quite a bit.

I drove by my 4 wheel parts and saw the aftermath of their car crush from this morning. Wish I would have known, I would have gone and watched.
