'87 Suburban Build "munepit" I'm Back! Missed all you guys!

My 4x club did a weekend run/camping deal. Over 20 Jeeps and 1 Suburban. I did some things I didn't think it could do and went places No full size should have gone through. I have lots of more scratches and branches were digging all the way through the paint. I flexed it so hard, my feder was smashed into the drivers door. Had to use a pry bar. Messed up the rear diff cover, Time to call Kert. Lost my front license plate, bent the rockers a bit. I forget what else right now. Raining so better pics tomorrow. Good times!!

Also hit a deep mudhole. Mostly water but the bottom was thick. No water made it inside though. It was past the doors.

I think I need to tighten my U bolts. Both overloads were twisted a bit.

Overloads- they do that all the time. You should tighten your u-bots anyway but because of that, you should do them each trip.

Shackles- you need spacers in the bolts the top is wider then the bottom. Go get a FUSH or what ever DIY calls it or put spacers, ie washers in the bottom.

Thanks! I do have the Diy4x FUSH things in there. It looked perfect before. Now is bent or something. I will ckeck it out tonight. Thanks!

I would check the top bolt looks like it may be loose. I don't think you should be able to see the bolt in between the shackle and the frame

A buddy sent me this video. Its no big deal, Didn't even know he was filming.

that's freeeeeekin awesome Jeff!! I can't wait to go back to Gorman, I want to see the new stuff. :)

Here is another video of me in the pit. When he stops the video what you dont see is me backing up and going out the side and spraying water/mud everywhere. I was in 2wd then had to go to 4hi.

Then after I left a stock Burb tried to go through it. You can see the result here.

A quote from my buddy who watched this. "It was funny as **** watching them stuck in there. Their dog was crying, mom was on the roof of the car, dad couldn't get it to start up. everything in their world was all bad."
