So first major issue we ran into is that the frame rails are so narrow on these trucks that the pumpkin on the beam housing hits at an undesirable point. We hacked off the front frame rails and they fabbed up some boxed rails this morning. This thing is gonna be mean!!

Yes they taper down quite a bit to keep the steering gear box from hitting the tires since it's mounted on the outside of the frame. My frame build I am contemplating on making it wider and putting the box on the inside rails. It just will make he drag link shorter, which will make the pan hard bar shorter, then you get into fabbing a crazy idler setup like Greg

Yeah it's very narrow. Fortunately the track width is increasing by 4.5 each side, total of 9 so I'm hoping to still squeeze the steering box in on the outside without interference.

Last I heard it was for sale. I thought long and hard about buying it but at the end of the day, I just didn't have the space or the time for it!
