I need to replace my rear ds ujoint axle. I went to the local autoparts stores and they have given me the wrong one. The one I took out was a spicer brand and can't find a cross reference number. Basically what I have done is taken 2 different u joints to make one, ok on the outside clips fit fine but the inside clips are about 1/4 inch off on each side. I need to find correct one. To my knowledge I have stock parts. 10bolt

Oh. Drive shaft. I was thinking driver's side for a minute and very confused.

Measure your old one and take note of where the clips are located. It is possible someone swapped drive shafts at some point and put a conversion joint in there.

If it has internal clips and a steel shaft it should be a normal 3r/S44 u joint. 1.125" caps and 3.625" wide. The moog number is 534G.

What did they give you for a u joint that didn't work? External clips it will be a 13 series joint. It dies into the driveshaft right but is to short on the pinion? Sounds like a 1330 yoke and 1310 driveshaft same cap sizes but the 1330 is longer.

Yes it fits the driveshaft but to short on yoke. So what do I do from there or can you explain a lil better for me please. What size of joint do I need? How could you tell what kind of ds I have or yoke?

Measure everything and look at the link above.

I'd guess 1310 and 1330

Now 1310 & 1330 I am assuming that's the joint and if so what brand and could I get it at local autozone. Thanks for the help:doah:

Calipers would be best, but if it's darn close to 3 5/8" I'd say that's it

I've been abusing that exact Brute Force 1-0134 U joint in the front shaft of my 92 and ford D60. Spinning 38" boggers in the mud.

Thanks dueling I ordered it, installed it so we will see how long if last but really appreciate it everything lined up good.
