Well I am Finally Posting my build up. Here is the specs on When it is done. Then I will show what I have done , and have been doing along the way.

89 S-10 Extended Cab .
350 TBI
700R4
231/300 Home Made Doubler.

D60 3 Link With PanHard
18" Sway Away Air shocks.
4.10s , Lockright Alloy USA Shafts , Longfield U Joints. Full Hydro .

D70 Rear , 4.10s 35 spline beef , Rear disks , welded.

Running H1 12 Bolt Double Beadlocks , and 47" Ltb's


I bought it with a blown motor , so got a 350 for it , and threw it in.

Little update. Been acquiring some tooling ,and working on misc stuff. Here is what I have been working on .

Doubler Had a friend weld a block off plate in , and cut a plate for the doubler. Need to call madrooster , and get a shaft ordered. Other than that I need to cut the center , and drill some holes. Started working on building a bender , almost done with it just need to finish boring some holes.

I finally bought a tank for my welder , and got a plasma , and it is great.

This weekend I also bought 5 Hummers , and Tires (to cheap to refuse, and seeing as I am dually F/R . )

I have my doubler just about done. I keep recieving parts to do stuff , but have been short on time. Here is a few pictures.

Well been making slow progress , waiting for parts. This weekend the plan is to blaze through the links ,and get the full hydro all done . Then make some Cross members ,and other misc things. Anyways I will update as I progress hope she is sitting on tires tomorrow night. Today we started at 4 made some decent progress but called it a night after the cops showed... Here is pics...

Didn't get the hydro steering done, he's gotta rotate the c's since we needed more pinion angle for the two piece front d shaft.

Oops, forgot to notch out and plate the crossmember for link droop clearance...........

It will come out forward , then down. It will suck but there is alot of force there , and I don't want any broken tube. Trans doesn't go in and out much so oh well..

Well Small Update. Truck Has been out at RoxRoes Place for about a Month and a half.

He Just started on it , and Is telling me a 1 Month Time Line.

Beginning to Rotating the C's

Started on my c rotating jig..........

Also the Decision was mad to go 3 Link Up front . The packaging with the 4 Link wasn't working to well with the Drive Shaft.

I've got the c's ground so I can see a crack between them and the tube with a few outward schwacks with an 8 lb sledge.

Gonna try to rotate them without heat, with a little hydraulic assistance. Gonna finish dismantling the axle tomorrow and get started on the fixture to hold the axle.

Shop is a little too crowded to put the axle on the table.

Well, I hope to get the stand done tomorrow, that is unless I host a beer pong party.

I'm totally digging my buddies kingpin wrench, I can pull shafts and whole outer assemblies as one easily. He ordered the hex stock, bent it, then sent it out for hardening. :grinpimp:

At least got a little start on the stand, yes its galvanized and was free. I'll gouge it where I'm going to weld and do so outside with a mask on. I'm going to put casters on it as my buddy recommended so I can scoot axles around the shop easily.

Well finished the stand today, and got the one c rotated about 4 degrees in about 20 minutes. Going to get a new bottle for my butane torch, think a little bit of heat will make it even better. Just gotta get some castors for this thing next week and weld them on.

Philip, I'm thinking a tandem axle front suspension would be awesome on the 10!
