are these seats adjustable? And does the passenger seat slide forward to allow access the rear?

My 91 seats were not adjustable. The seat back tilted forward (and reclined) then the seat could be slid forward on the track for rear access. They did not tilt like earlier versions.

The newer seats started in ‘87. My passenger slides forward when you push the seat back forward. Driver side can slide on the track but not on its own, have to use the adjuster on front of seat

Thanks guys. My 79, the backs lean too far back. And they're tall, so the pass. Side only tilts up so far before hitting the windshield

Might try to swap in the burb seats, I can adjust the backs and I like the armrest.

Interesting, never seen even a ‘86 k5 with the newer slide seats. Good to know

At first I was going to say I had my years mixed up because I wanted to find proof, but I found pics of recently sold rigs that shows an '86 with the tilt/slide seats. It must have been a long running change then, that is really bizarre they had both going at the same time for that period.

I want to say the parts manual shows the same, but I don't have access to it right now.

Isn't there a simple AI available (@CK5) that auto searches and puts in the information that's already been posted? Or maybe the information posters can have free memberships while the non-searchers/leachers can pay double?

Sorry, just grumpy. No particular offense to @Big Ray, it just seems like most of what's one pages 1 and 2 these days is also on pages 3-10.

I have had a '90 Scottsdale and '89 Jimmy, seats were different in both of them. I'm guessing it was an option but the Jimmy's driver seat can recline and move backwards. The Scottsdale only had the forward and backward, no recline. Passenger seats on both move forwards and the seat back pivots forward so that you can access the backseats.
