89-91 Scottsdale K5 Grills

I saw a stock k5 blazer yesterday that had the scottsdale trim package, or I should say lack thereof. No carpet, headliner, rearpanels, nothing. What it did have was the wrong grill, or did it? the guy told me people don't believe him when he tells them it's a 91, I looked at those two big fat rectangular headlights, and thought it was'nt. I looked at the #'s and sure enough it was a 91, It looks like the original factory grill. I'm confused.

Yeah I owned a scottsdale package blazer and they have the single large headlight. I think they are pretty rare from what I have seen.

I had an '84 K30 Scottsdale once and it had quad headlights. Even had all the bells and whistles as a Silverado minus the "chrome" parts on the interior trim pieces and also did not have the head liner.

I was referring to the 89-91 scottsdale blazers and subs. The headlight arangement changed from 88-89 with the regular headlights and the scottsdale edition vehicles as well.

This is a picture of a '90 Scottsdale K5. I have a coworker with an 89 or 90 Suburban with the same Scottsdale style front end.

I kinda like them.

My 1987 has 2 head lights it was standard.

In 1989 the Scottsdale trim replaced Custom Deluxe, SLX and SLE replaced Sierra and Sierra Clasic trim.

my 91 is a scottsdale and has the quad headlight grille and all that. Didn't have much of the trim at all on the inside...pretty much base door panels...lol...no power windows, power locks, etc, no headliner, but sure enough had the quad headlights.

I recently looked at a 90 gmc crew cab with a cloth int, 350,4l80,and it had the stupid 2 headlamp grill. it was not the total strip down. but it was also from canada. So who knows.

Mine is a '91 Socttsdale and it has the quad headlight setup......
