And we bitch about smog because there is no expiration anymore, a truck could be a hundred years old and you'd still be required to test.
The last year that was exempt was 75, so 76 and newer will alway shave to be smoged.
But the worst thing that we complain about is the fact that your vehicle could pass the sniffer but it still has to pass a visual where the parts that you have must be CA aproved and certified with a compliance number, or you will be failed.
So it's not about running clean, but about doing it their way.
