Ok, so I'm a newbie to automotive stuff. I'm very close friends with a family of Chevy car guys who go back for generations car-wise. I've always loved k5's, and with their encouraging and promise of help, they convinced me to buy and fix up an '89 K5 Blazer.
That said, with the background out of the way, here's a question: Why is it so difficult to find parts that don't seem like they'd be so obscure? For example, I'm looking for a grill guard that would fit my vehicle. It's hands down impossible for me to find anything that clearly states "yeah, this will fit your truck.

Well, so it calls itself a mounting system. Does that mean it's what I'm looking for? Is it a kit for mounting the product itself? Little things like this.
Thankfully, I've been introduced to the pleasures of Haynes manuals and LMC Truck parts catalogues, but any advice/help is greatly appreciated.
