89 Suburban is gone....added a K5 in it's place..87 V30 WONTON

I assumed 16s but I'll check

That bench seat should go back further. My c10 was like yours when I first got it. One day I finally got it to move back all the way and it was SO much better. I can barely push a finger between the seat and cab if I'm not sitting it it. If I'm in the seat, I can't get anything in between.

As promised here is the JNC 770 battery jump pack. It has 12 plus volts prior to it's first charge. It seems to be a solid piece of equipment and i plan on giving it a thorough workout in the frozen Idaho winter. @ZooMad75 warned me it is heavy but I shouldn't have to carry it too far at the shop. We shall see. I'll do a review so other members have some honest feedback.

I paid $171.74 plus $10.30 sales tax for a grand total of $182.04 It was purchased from shamazon full price so I won't be posting any specific links. This is for any brothers who might be considering a similar product.

Okay. Plugged in as instructed. It's flashing FUL so it's ready to go. It came fully charged. Instructions say to charge for 24 hours before use but apparently it's ready now. Very nice!

I suppose I need to ad to my YouTube to post videos?

Does the charger stop charging it when it says full? some of our early 660's would keep charging and ruined the batteries, we had to remember to unplug them.

I’d refrain from using the cigarette lighter charge cord for the primary way to charge. If it’s low it puts a lot of current demand on whatever socket you plug it into. It’s ok to top off but my guys would leave them plugged in all the time and we would have issues.

Slowly getting the K5 setup for winter wheeling. I just ordered this Summit heater and plan on having @blazinzuk Eirc's Off Road Emporium do the install. He's a member here and works out of Idaho Falls. Doing my best to support forum members when possible.

Hopefully there's enough ducting under the dash to make the install smooth. I'm not sure how much survived over the years/mods.

Sunday's fun chores. Hucking all this stuff out of the shop is the first obstacle. Then the actual fun starts. I still get excited to wrench on my trucks whenever possible, even when it's snowing.

I picked up this puller kit because the last time I did a steering wheel I borrowed @Fastereddie setup for my crew cab. It's a cheapo ebay kit because there's a good chance this will be the last time I need one.

The 3.5" superlift kit is all here except the leaf springs. Steering wheel arrived earlier and the adapter arrived the 20th. Install pics later this afternoon if all goes as planned.

Summit box contains the heater for the 77 K5. Install is going to be done at Eric's Offroad Emporium here in Idaho. It's out of my physical capacity right now.

What is the hub diameter of the Dana 60? Looking at some cheapo wheels and just need to make sure they'll fit.

Here's the cheapest set of wheels I could find including steelies. Quick photochop on Wonton. Not sure these will work for me.

I think I'll go with the Outlaws, they just hold their look for me after all these years. They clock in at just under $1k for 17x8s set of 4.

I just went out and measured my D60, looks like about 4.5"
For reference, I measured the opening on my wheels, and it's 5 inches.
Thank you! That's perfect and will help while looking. I think I'm just going to do the old school Outlaw wheels from American Racing. I've had them on a lot of my trucks and still look good.

Put the new jump box to its first run. Truck was low enough to not fire even turning over but labored. After connecting to the PO wiring mess it fired up.

While working on the steering wheel, I've tried my best to slam the seat back. I know there's probably close to 1-2 inches left for it to move. Does anyone have any other ideas on getting it back short of pulling the seat out? (can't remove it)
