The dogs and I have been “roughing it” in the pop up truck camper. After trying everything from a sleeping bag on the ground to a giant 5th wheel, I think I’ve found the setup that works for us.

Mid 2000’s Palomino Bronco pop up. when the crew cab is diesel swapped I’ll look for a newer 8’ pop up model for it and retire this one. I bought an older TLC version because I wasn’t sure I’d like it either. It is a nice in between size and no towing anything. Only downside is slower speeds than the contractor shell I usually run.

Awesome time at KOH with @Fastereddie. I chose comfort over the blazer and took the camper. The food was the best I've had in a while and hanging with a great friend made it a really great time! The racing was pretty cool too Had lunch at Slash X (great burgers) Ed and I sat with an old friend (RIP).

Went on a short trip with the wife today. The shop is a 10 minute trip from some decent trails.

Checkpointing it in Laughlin this weekend. Solo with the mutts. Night racing last night, tech today then two days of kick ass racing.

Ended up with a couple nights left over on a room so I couldn’t say no. Get a shower and some tv then on to the mornings racing. The Colorado river is below to the right.

Finally an update on actual truck work. I’ve been looking for some time to install a rust free bed on ol blue. Install went pretty smooth including body lines matching up.
