89 Suburban is gone....added a K5 in it's place..87 V30 WONTON

I'm interested in the setup minus the core support. Price shipped to 89121?

I just found a box suitable for the grill last night. The valance I am probably gonna have to make something to ship in. Bezels and light buckets are already boxed.

No worries, no rush just trying to settle up.

Test fitting the new to me arb drawer setup. It fits perfect between the fuel pump hatch and recovery ammo can. Lockable storage for necessities was the goal. Holds a full length AR if so desired.

Not much time after work but knocking things off the list. Cut the fangs off the front and mocked up a tuffy console. Brackets to mount console are tomorrow.

Most of the wiring is out of the way now. No picture needed it still looks like the last pic. All this new fangled fuel injection will catch on someday. Tomorrow evening is fluid dump and clip removal. Then the schedule hopefully follows - 3rd/4th day is frame cleaning and then the weekend for fitting everything up. Tack weld components, do a final check and finish welding. The following week will be hydraulic assist and rear ARB. Giant list but we have a gap in racing so the down time is needed to catch up for Blazer Bash. :saweet: I'll be using Vegas to Reno for testing out the mods during race retrieval so I have till the 2nd week of August to finish up and find a trailer. lol

Wiring strapped back and fluid dumped (most of it in buckets than floors) Bolts pulled and waiting for a helper to show up to lift the clip off. No room for the forklift to squeeze around inside the shop right now so manual labor it is.

Shout out to Matt & Seven with Wicked Wrench Motorsports. They stopped by to pick up some prototype parts and I wrangled them into lifting the clip off with me. On to frame cleaning tonight!

The MAW bug is alive in the shop. I have everything to do hydraulic assist steering now and was wondering if Hydroboost brakes at this point is a good idea? The clearance would be helpful with the suspension but how much added work is it to add into the steering setup? @Fastereddie

Honestly I’m not 100% sure. I’ve never retro’d from vacuum to hydro. I know the pedal pivot point is different, so there’s that, then I think it’s a matter of getting the right parts. ( pushrod, lines, master etc. )

Got a little more done after work tonight. All the suspension and axle bolts are loose and ready to pull. Air chiseled the factory bump stops off and a quick once over on the frame for bump cans and panhard bar bracket. Getting closer to fitting everything. Forward progress.
