1989 350 tbi from a K5... I put it in my 1954 Chevy 3100 with a stand-alone wiring harness from Affordable Fuel Injection. I've drove it like this for the past three years.
Last weekend, my battery died while it was running, and the truck died. After re-charging the battery, the truck still won't fire.
I have replaced the coil, Ignition module, distributor, cap, and button. The coil fires... spark is getting to the dist cap, but I am getting nothing back to the plug wires.
What am I overlooking? I'm about to pull my hair out trying to figure this one out.

well if spark is going to your dis cap and not coming out i would imagine it would be the cap and rotor either that or the dizzy is broke- sorry overlooked that part i would see if the rotor rotates, but i wouldnt imagine that would have any thing to do with the battery being dead

nothin at the wire on the plug side or its not coming out of the cap? did you ground the plug on the motor to see if it fires or just let it hang there?

I was getting fire into the center lug on the cap via the coil wire, but nothing at the outside lugs (to the plug wires). This was all with a new cap and button.

I let the battery set unhooked overnight, reconnected it the next morning, and the truck fired right up!
