89 Trail/DD Burban Build Colorado

Thank you will do it in the morning. I did the full tune up I listed plus cap, rotor, coil, wires and plugs all top off line. Seam like it fires up better and runs smoother. Tranny is still pissed at me. We will see it goes to AAMCO tomorrow.
 
They were great and very honest. Anybody know were I can get the kick down switch and bracket that goes under the gas pedal, I am missing the whole thing.
 
thx that will help. I am also going to go to a junk yard to see if I can find the mounting brake as well.

I run mine dedicated. Since you are in Colorado you may want to consider a bypass valve which allows your tranny to get to running temp then valve opens up to allow full usage of the cooler.

Anyone know of a reasonable place or home mechanic that can do some work on my rig in or around Denver. I wanted to help do it and learn how to fix my own rig but no body hit me up. I live in a apartment for now so no place to work on myself.

Here's a list of thing I need to get done before winter. Let me know if you can help I will pay for your time plus need some new trail buddy's.

Top priority's

  1. 1. Gears and seals (I have a ton of drive train lash, u-joints good its in rear diff maybe the front as well) Lowest I found for labor $1250+
  2. 2.Twin stick the transfer case and new seals on it.
  3. Check and replace brakes if needed. (think I can do this)
  4. XJ steering mod and new pump.
  5. New shocks and 1" zero rear. (think I can do this)
  6. RV morse TBI mod.
  7. Exhuast and new cats.
  8. Stepdown kit for TH400 (ASAP) (think I can do this)
  9. Fix front defrost in only work at 50%. Think the flap is not opening 100%.

Also needed

  1. Fix rear nothing works ac/defrost.
  2. Front windows very slow.
  3. Seat belts are a pain in the ass lock every inch. maybe LMC new ones.
  4. Twin battery (think I can do this myself)
  5. Front seats suck (think I can do this myself)
  6. Driver door does not close right or at all. driving me nuts.
  7. Pass door need a little tweak as well.
  8. headliner started to u know what. LOL I can do this one.
  9. Find a full size spare tire.

I would love to have one of you guys take a look at her and point out any other things I am missing.
