Looking at these. They only come in 7,8, and 10.5 wire sizes. I run 8.5mm. Thinking about running a drill through the holes if needed, but that might ruin them. Would the larger 10.5mm size be too sloppy and cause issue with the wires not staying in place?

OH the monumental decision! :haha: What ya'll think?

I've got a set of 8.5 msd wires in a 8mm holder. They fit, but super tight. You can't adjust em easily.

Also have a set of 8mm in the same holder and they fit fine. Easy to adjust if need be.

i dont see why you couldnt get 8 and if it works run it, it is doesnt run a drill through and skin some off til they fit the way you want them too. I dont think it would hurt them if you do it right and just take small steps and skin it.

My 8.5 msd wires fit in 8mm just fine. Just don't tighten the balls out of it or you will pinch the sides a teeny bit

Besides think about it. It's only 1/2 of a mm. So teeny

I figured they would fit. I have some separators (not holding style) that I got from an auto parts store that are probably 8mm.

The separators are hollow if memory serves, so drilling them out might not be an option. If there were any down sides running a smaller clamp, the 10.5s might work out better. :dunno:
