All kidding aside Fords are cool. I just don’t know anything about them.

And actually just what you said is the one thing I don’t like about Ford. My first real job was at a Ford dealership in 1987 How is it the every Engine has different hoses than the next engine… would love to be the parts guy at Ford! Nothing is interchangeable.

I got mostly forced into it working for a company that has a majority of Fords in their fleet. They definitely aren't as universal and interchangeable as Chevy that's for sure.

Yep, pencil pushers look at the original purchase price and ignore future repairs and maintenance.

I hear that this particular old man truck is scheduled for repairs now.

I came home one day and it was gone. My dad felt bad that we had to hustle ass to move without any help and basically wasted the tranny moving

So he kidnapped it to take to the trans shop. But it didn’t make it.
So he had to call a tow truck to deliver it

Long story short, the folks did us a solid and fixed the beater for us
