I bought this 90 Jimmy because it had a 383 stroker in it but someone converted to carb.
I bought this Jimmy just for the motor. I’m pulling it to put into my 79 blazer, and installing my 305 into this one. My 305 is a TBI block, just setup with a carb........and I have a parts motor with a TBI and intake from a 93 truck.
Will the 93 TBI work in the 90 Jimmy? I have no clue which wires need to be connected. I’ve never owned a TBI model. But I’ve been tryin to research.
Will I need to use the distributor from the TBI motor too? Or will my MSD that’s currently on it work?
Just debating if it’s worth all the effort or just leave it carbed. I plan to sell it anyway. Maybe just send the intake and TBI with new owner. Lol.
PO also installed a fuel pump button on the dash which has to be turned on and off manually. People are funny.

I’d leave it off since you are selling it. Once you swap it, you want all the bugs worked out, and it will likely need more $$ to sort the tbi than just swapping in the 305

good luck
