Anyone able to help?

I am finishing up my tour in Germany and getting ready to move back to Colorado but my Blazer can not be shipped until it's back together. The accessory bracket on the passenger side that holds the A/C is broke. Since that also holds the belt tensioner and idler pulley, the truck does not run. Chevrolet no longer carries the bracket and one from Chevy Performance does not work, I have tried. I have tried the usual places; LMC, calling several junk yards in the states, and relatives, but have come up short. Does anyone know of a place or someone who would have the bracket and is willing to part with it? I have a '90 Blazer, 4 x 4, with the 350 TBI.

Thanks!

think he is asking for the whole aluminum bracket under the AC that bolts to the front of the head.

That is what I am thinking too but want to be sure before I go running all over looking for wrong part.

that bracket holds all accessories on that side of the engine. I just looked at my '90 engine on the stand. It does have two rod type stabilizer behind the idler to the intake.

Worse case maybe loan him your till he gets it home to the USA :dunno:

Its only 3AM where he is. :yikes: maybe when he wakes he will clarify. I have seen lots of them in the local yards. havent priced one.:D

Hey if you have seen them that is great as it has been three years since I was at a yard. I was going to do it to help him out since he is in the service. Cool if it is would you see about it and PM me.

Hopefully he will get bsck to us in the AM with the right part. if the sun is out (been raining) will hit the yards.

Gentlemen,

Let me start by saying "Thanks". I am talking about the aluminum? bracket on the right side. Mine does have the two rods to stablize the belt tensioner running to the intake manifold. I am not able to view the pictures due to the filters on my office computer. I will go home at lunch to check out the pics and reply again.

Again, thanks!

I found one for you, that is the big aluminum part for $28. Don't know what shipping would run as I don,t know your location.
