90 Suburbans/Blazers speedometer question

I posted in the wanted section for a speedometer for my '90 Suburban. I didn't post that it need to be electric because I was told that all '90-'91 Suburbans and Blazers had electric speedometers. I've had a few responses, but they were for cable type speedometers that were supposed to have come from a '90 Sub's. Were there both types in '90? Mine is electric, with trip odo.,100,000 mile odo. 85 mph.

I have personal experience with 2 '90 Subs (one base model, the other Silverado) and both had electric speedos. Fwiw, my '91 K5 is electric also.

I wish you had posted this a month ago, I ruined the electric speedo from the Silverado trying to reset the odo to zero.

I've had 2 90 Burbs, one 3/4t 2wd with a manual trans and the other a 1/2t 4wd with an AT. Both had electric speedo's. My 88 Burb has a mech speedo.

Yep, 90 and 91 are electric.
