No truck update, just a new purchase that will aid in the wrenching.

One of the main reasons I bought it. Fits perfect in the back of the sub.

Ran into a little issue. The front springs I bought from a friend must have been rearched at some point because the front went up about 5" almost 6", my shock was almost fully extended sitting on the ground so I went and bought a new set of springs from 4 Wheel Parts.

Old spring on left new on right

That's weird. I wonder if those were actually 6" springs.

Let us know how the Bilstiens do. Some guys love them but lately I've seen a couple of posts saying that they're too soft for a Suburban.

Awesome man! What are you planning on doing for tires?

Temporarily I'll be running the wheels and tires that are on the other burb in the pics. They're 16x10s with some semi worn 315/75-16 ProComp Muds. In the future (hopefully later this year) I'll be running 315/75-16 Goodyear Duratracs on some sort of steel wheel.

Yea it is wierd, the Rough Country number on the springs say they're 4" springs but the bushings are new and the center pins have been removed recently so I'm thinking they've been rearched.

As far as the Bilsteins I love them. I believe they make these rough a$$ lift springs not so bad of a ride. My buddy has the same springs on his burb and it's a hell of a different ride with the cheap ProComp shocks he has.

live animals - can you take a measurement for me from the bottom of your rims to the top of your wheel wells . i am running the same wheels on my 88 it a 3/4 ton i have re arched my rear springs and added one leaf in front and rear but not sure on a few things. i just don't know how much i'm up over sock. if you could let me know what the measurement that would help thanks. sweet burb that's niiiiiiiiiiice

ive always thought it was funny how a burb makes 35s look small
