91 Awd S10

So gonna do a quick run down to where the build is at right now. Picked it up around November last year, previous owner had a 383 sbc and was basically making a street race truck. I bought it as a roller and went the ls route. Currently as follows
-08 ly6 6.0 gapped rings and new bearings
225/231 boost cam (my first motor to assemble, glad it didn’t scatter parts on the Dyno)
Janky hotside built by me with China 80mm
-80e with hd2 shiftkit, bw4472 with custom 32 spline input shaft
-zr2 s10 8.6 rear with trutrac/built front syclone diff with helical lsd and cryo treated internals
-drop springs in rear with cal tracs/coilovers in front with Tb delete
-hydroboost conversion with dual line locks

So that pretty much catches up to current day. This week I had the windows tinted, changed to fender exit exhaust and had it tuned.

Made 495/570 on 7lb and 642/726 on 11.5 pounds. Torque prob 40-50 high because converter was unlocked and it hits hard. It’s pretty crazy on the street because the turbo spoils instantly. With the line locks and two step, it’ll make 10lb instantly even in gravel. Hydroboost is awesome

It’s a heavy first gen though, 3450 without me in it. Bw 4472 full time from a 94 bravada, exact same case they ran in the typhoon/syclone.

Me neither. i had to google it. I mean, the 32 spline input kind of gives it away but I never heard of it

Has more lockers then most mall crawlers lol. People have gone in the 8s with stock front diffs and stock transfer cases.

Managed to get the rear bumper on this morning. Not the biggest fan of roll pans so I shaved/color matched a blazer bumper.

Sweet ride! I've had two '91 s10 trucks. Last one was mint and I always wanted to v8 swap it but I ended up getting rid of it. I always thought an AWD v8 one would be a blast. I've heard about using an AWD Astro van tcase in one also.
