91 Awd S10

Yep, the awd astro vans use the same transfer case. They are actually rather easy to find. I picked up 3 for $225 when I started building the truck, never have to many spare parts.

I'm sure there will be lots of videos once it finally makes it to the track. As of right now the first track day I'll be able to make is the end of january once all our local tracks open back up.

We pulled the front driveshaft, the transfer case is full time with a viscous coupler. It's pretty crazy how well it hooks and goes on the street.

Maybe some awd burnouts when I get some street tires on it. It's on Nitto 555r drag radials right now so it doesn't spin very much. Did a 10lb launch yesterday and it spun a few feet then hooked. I plan on eventually getting some 15 welds with some hoosiers then I'll put street tires on the 17s.

Bad ass. I've always loved syclones but this is so much better. No worries of killing an ultra rare original, but still have the awd goodness and then some.

I'd be down to do the same thing on my 97 S10 beater if I had the money to dump into it.

I actually looked for a syclone roller but couldn't find one at the time for a reasonable price. Also don't have to worry about hurting the purest feelings.

Well I gave in last night and ordered a bigger turbo. The current turbo is kinda small on the exhaust side and is running into backpressure issues at higher boost. Still plan on seeing what the current setup will run next month before I swap out any parts, need to get bigger injectors too. Once you get past 1000cc injectors they get crazy expensive.

Ahh horsepower, by far my most favorite drug. And the never ending quest for more.

It's very addictive!! It's been a few years since I've had anything fast, forgot how much fun it is. It made 760/790 on 15lb, I'm anxious to see what it's gonna run at that power level. Hoping to pick up another 100-150hp once the other turbo goes on and I get some bigger injectors.

Both turbos are Vs racing, so yep china turbos lol Current one is a 80mm 83/75 and the new one is a 88mm 96/88. I really didn't need the larger compressor side, just the larger exhaust wheel. The 88 was on sale for cheaper then the large exhaust wheel 80.

Changed out the upper control arms for some tubular ones last week and got another alignment. Brought it to cars and coffee last weekend and it surprisingly got more attention then I expected. It’s crazy how much fun it is, been taking people for rides like it’s an amusement park ride lol
