Well i thought it was about time for a build up thread so here goes.
It started out as a completly stock 91 blazer 350/sm465/241/10 Bolts

First thing was a 4 inch lift on 35's then an 8 inch lift on 36's then the cylinder head cracked when it overheated on the freeway. so i put a rebuilt 350 in it and now im goin to lift it the right way.

i picked up a d60 and a 14 bolt with a detriot in it and dug up the stock 52's and went to work.
Front axle and suspension out

Rear Axle, suspension and gas tank out

ORD shackle flip and Diy4x shackles with 63 inch springs installed i tried without moving the front hanger at all but shackle angle was horrible so i moved the front forward as far as it would go until it hit the body mounts and that fixed it.

Thats how it sits right now. Wow it goes a lot quicker typing the work you did rather than doing it. i've been working on this for about 4 months now i believe. i currently have 4 rancho 9000's (15 inch travel) waiting to be installed and i hope to recieve my drivelines this week along with my short shaft kit.

:waytogo: My '91 build is going to be very similar (it's even white!). I've been working on it twice as long and have half as much done. :doah:

Ya i guess im moving along at a pretty good pace. except my company just went under so i need to find a new job quick to finish this.

BGKYK5 What size tires are thinkin about running? I think im goin to go with 42 inch iroks

I was considering the 7.25" as well for my '74 along with a set of zero rates moved forward. Should give good clearance for a set of 38's or 40's, along with some trimming of course. :D

Ya i've got zero rates on the front axle moved the full 1.5 inches forward i also had to move the springs to the furthest forward position because in the rear the frame was sitting on the springs, and with the 6 inch shackles there is still not a lot of clearance but i think with at least 7 inch shackles it will work well. Yes there will be a lot of fender trimming in the near future.

I had to cut about a quarter inch sliver off the edge so i could mount it flush with the body mount

Still looking for a right angle drill so i can put a 4th bolt in that upper hole

Lookin' good. :waytogo:

It is kinda hard to tell from the pics, on the front hanger of the rear spring did you just pivot the hanger around the upper forward rivet, or did you have to re-drill that hole too?

Hey CC,
Are those 52 inch spring on the front end? The reason I ask is I didn't really like the shackle angle with those 6 inch shackles.
