Hey, just finished getting my 3/4 ton conversion done, 4" tuff country lift, new black cragar rims(15") and new set of 35x12.5x15 bf goods, KM2 mud tires.

Heres a link to my album, has some pics of when I first bought her, and of the truck now, ill take some better ones soon, I just finished and the thunder started, wanted to get inside.

How does she look????

Its not bad at all, I havent taken it on the highway or anything yet, need to find someone to balance the tires and align it, sears said they couldnt do it.

But driving it around my neighborhood, honestly, it feels just like it did before I did anything, no rougher or softer then the stock stuff.

Looks like im going to have to trim the front of the front fenders, going up a curb the tire hits when turning, lol.

dont wast your money on alignment.

search here for the tape measure method. the only thing thay will set is total toe and center the wheel up for ya. do it your self.

What gears are in your 3/4 ton axles? I bought a set of 3/4 tons with
3.73's in them. I downloaded a gear calculator and plugged in the
original gear/tire combo to a 3.73/35" combo and it says that it should
be about 1% off of the original setup. So if you do have 3.73's, how
does it feel power wise?

BTW it does look awesome.

how the hell did you get that crap in and out!

Love it! That's pretty clean for a NY rig..

Did you have to do much grinding to get the 15's to fit?

hot diggity damn these trucks look so much better with a 4in lift. love the black/chrome/white scheme youve got goin on.

Thanks all, appreciate the positive responses.

As to how I got it all in and out, an engine hoist and a fair length of chain, lol.
Sorry no side shots from that day, it really didnt push it down very far at all tho.

To fit the 15s I didnt have to grind much at all, I replaced all the calipers with new, it was really just the..i'll call it slag around the hole on the "back" of the caliper where you can look in and see the pads. Some had to be taken down a little bit more, but it was easy with a 7in grinder, lol.

Mine have 4.10 gears, haven't taken her on the highway yet, driving around town it feels basically the same tho power wise, maybe a little bit less.

Crooked bumper huh? I never noticed, lol. Plan on getting some tube bumpers at some point. After I pay the wheels and tires off, heh. Maybe after I get some sliders or something to help the girls into the truck, hahaha.

And I do agree they look bada$$ with the lift, lots of fun to drive too, I feel better up there, at work i'm still a few feet higher driving a sanitation truck but its closer, and thats good.

I was jsut messing with you. It looks off by a 1/2 in from one side to the other. The whole truck looks good though.

once you cut, it starts to snowball on ya. is this a mall cruiser or what?

looks good

Its a DD right now, but will be a toy once I get a new car, I still dont want to cut her up too bad if I dont have too. I will start wheeling it alot more once its not my only mode of transportation.

Not sure about the zero rates, have to read up about them.
