I know the '88 to '91 rigs have longer front shackles and also slightly larger bolts at the shackle end of the springs but what size exactly?

I thought GM went from 7/16" to 1/2" on these bolts but when I got new Energy Suspension bushings to fit Rancho springs, and to fit a '91, the rear spring bushing sleeves have holes the same size as the very front spring bolts at 9/16".

I haven't crawled under the K5 yet but anyone know this for fact if the front springs are both 9/16" front and rear with the shackle bushing sleeve remaining at 7/16"? Otherwise I'm gonna have to drill the holes out to 9/16" and find some bolts to replace the small ones.

Up through 1987 the rear shackle bolts on the front springs were 7/16", starting in 1988 GM changed them to 1/2" bolts. The front spring eye is 9/16" as you've said. Sounds like you got some wrong parts in your kit.

Yeah I think so, too.

I knew the '88 to '91 use 1/2" bolts on the rear areas of the front springs.

Rather than deal with shipping, etc. again, I'm just gonna make new shackles and get new bolts instead.
