No other work done since, weekends full of horse shows and volleyball tryouts. I'm off this week so I'm hoping to get some work done.

The BBQ was good but portions seemed a little small, the place is called Hokie's. The last couple of times we've been to the Shed it wasn't that good, fatty meat and/or cold.

I'm in the holiday hiatus until New Years weekend. No big plans for that weekend but I'll work on it some. I'm probably going to fast forward to the body for a little while plus I have some nick knack type small things to finish up.
I'm partnering with the guy with the bender to buy a bunch of tubing but when I finally got ready (+$$) life hit him (-$$) so now he's not ready, with that finishing the cage is in limbo for a month or two.
My
moment... I had connected the battery to run it some prior to putting the cage together. Well, I forgot to disconnect it while welding all the tubing together and now coincidentally the battery wont take a charge, I guess it's fried. I know better but it had been a couple of weeks in between so I forgot it was hooked up, $100 refresher lesson. 
Well dang, how old was that battery.

I know he had some bad problems for a while, I successfully bought some small stuff from him just before all that hit the fan. Basically, he's the only one I've found that builds manual shift conversions for electric tcases. I've got problems with the one in my daily (nv273) and need change it to manual shift, for $170 vs a $500+ used nv271 swap I have to gamble.
goodluck, I wouldn't buy a lollipop from him. Make sure you protect yourself, use a CC so you can recoup your funds if you don't receive it timely. I wouldn't even pay him unless it's on the shelf and ready to ship.

I haven't been able to work on it but I have been thinking about it. LOL
I just called O'Neal Steel a minute ago about getting some 1x2x1/8 to build seat brackets with, that shit has just from $162 to $302 since right before Christmas!!
Now I've got to figure out something else to make the brackets out of. 
Damn! Not buying from them then. How much do you need?
