91 K5 -Procrastination Build - bikini top!

I’ve been avoiding the dash wiring nightmare like the plague. I finally broke down and worked on it today, it’s not a pro unpinning job but it’s a lot better. I still have to fix the taillights and test all the regular stuff (wipers, turn signals, gas gauge, etc) but I think this part is almost whipped. Next will be the auxiliary fuse panel for the MSD and a couple of other accessories.

Congrats on GMOTM! you definitely deserve it man. I have to admit, I have scoured this thread several times for my build. Im a fan.

Thank you! I’ve got to start working on it more and step up my content. lol And wheeling pics, wheeling pics are always good.

No update on the Blazer, just posting a parts pic.

Backstory; 20 years ago I had a big K10 swb with 10” lift and 44’s, just a mud truck. I wanted a raised push/pull arm (to avoid a block) so I had a friend make one from some parts I had (stock D60 arm and a dropped pitman arm).

The short arm is mine, the tall arm is a Burbank Suspension arm I just got from centexk5. I had seen the Burbank part on old magazines and wanted to copy it. I got this “new” part for shop decoration, I’m really blown away by how tall it is.

Wiring always makes me cringe. I have to do it to my truck at some point too. PO has a litany of aftermarket bubba tie ins all over the place.

That is the one thing I always dread. Just because I don't have much experience with it.

Good luck!

Thanks! I may be guilty of a few quick splices here and there. :D Between this harness and an accessory fuse panel I hope to make it all clean and super simple to work on.
