91 Suburban, Family truck build. She done :(

Got the blazer sitting on the stock suburban axles.
It's weird to see it back stock looking, it's been a while.

Pinion angle is set and burned in. I need to pick up an o2 sensor and put the exhaust on, and start mounting shocks.

The Blazer looks good, should be an easy sell... unless you were to keep it for a wheeler.

Odd, I thought both Chevy and GMC 91s all had the 4 head light configuration.

Yeah the quad lamp trim is an option, the 2 lamp set up is standard equipment.

Yep, no option models got the two lights. It was what I wanted so that worked out.

I suggested we make a hillbilly hot rod out of it. But that got vetoed lol.

Forgot to update.....

So the day after driving it home we set to loading her up and then the next morning set of for the national forest to go camping with a semi local group.

It was really nerve wracking for me, especially having about an hour of drive time on the truck.

Other than figuring out that the sending unit was not giving the correct fuel level the drive to the woods was fairly uneventful.

It drove nicely at 75 mph on the highway and held overdrive. No over heating and the steering would hold straight if I let go of the wheel.

Only bad thing was discovering the fuel line was dripping the entire time, but I figure that's why it has a 40 gal tank lol.

It is definitely different wheeling a full bodied big booty truck than my stripped down blazer but the extra doors really made it worth it, and other than the screaming of the mud grapplers it was quiet inside.

And the only picture I got in a weekend lol, parked at my girlfriend's parents house on the way home.
