Located in Northern / Eastern Detroit Suburbs (Hall Rd. / Gratiot area)

1991 Chevy Suburban 3/4 Ton - 2WD
Newer 350 Chevy Engine w/ Roller Cam
Newer 700R4 Turbo Tranny w/ Overdrive
[Estimate about 250 horses.]

Not rebuilds -- tranny is less than 2 yrs old, engine is a `93, but was in a classic car until 2004, hence the low miles.

Both have only 40k miles on them (Odo. reads 190k)

Needs body work (not from accident or anything, just bad paint and some rust.)
Not sure if A/C still works. (Heat does.)
Needs other odds/ends fixes ie, power window on driver side doesn't work.

However, engine and tranny are the real value here. Was told both of those things alone are worth about $3,500.

Drives real nice. Steering and ride are great. Real fast... you need to hear this baby roar! A good body man could get this thing in amazing shape... or, if you don't mind the looks, drive it as is. I did for a year.

Asking $2,750 OBO.

I haven't taken pics yet, but feel free to come by and take a look. I will have pics eventually when I list on autotrader (if it doesn't sell before hand.)

I should have pics within a week, but I've already been getting calls on it so I may not need them.

Feel free to call any time 586 area code, 783-6850.

Thanks!

Seriously? I will have to look into that.

It was given to me by my step dad, who's a huge auto enthusiast, who got it from a friend of his who's also a big enthusiast. Actually, the way he got the car to begin with was that he did a big job for the friend and the 'burb was the "payment". He was originally going to restore it, but ended up getting a job at a dealership and doesn't have the time anymore.

I admit that I myself am not that knowledgable in this area, so I very well could have copied that info down wrong.

Thanks for wishing me luck, though. ;)
