Well finally the rusty floor pan has caught up with me and the Burb that and the tranny losing reverse has all added up to this next post. A pretty mint 87 k5 has pretty much fallen into my lap for fairly cheap with the Burb being on its way out is there anything I should grab out of it before having it taken away for scrap? It has a 4" suspension lift on blocks but im unsure if that will mate up with the k5. Now I believe ive read somewhere that the rear leafs from the Burb will give a k5 a pretty decent lift and im assuming the front will do the same. Only problem being im unsure if ill be able to get a wrecker to pull it if shes sitting on the frame outside my house is it worth fighting with this to get the leafs or should I just strat fresh with the k5 the leafs on the burb are looking a little sad these days. Any help would as always be awsome guys

Is the burb a 1/2 or 3/4 ton?

K5 and burb essentially use the same spring (height). The burb rears are sometimes the longer 56" as opposed to the K5 52". Most people swap out for the longer springs via a shackle flip netting them better flex and 4" lift. The spring alone will not provide any lift, lift comes from the shackle flip kit.

The front springs should be lift springs as I really hope no one would use front blocks. They would be the same length between the burb and K5 and could be swapped over.

Or you could pull the front lift springs and rear blocks and just resale them, if it's worth the trouble.

If the burb is 3/4 ton I would save the axles/wheels/tires to swap into the K5 or sell just don't expect very much for them. Most people look for 1 ton stuff.
