Martin, these won't stay long. Just until the tires wear out. Do you know where to find some of the wide steel wheels or what they came on? I really want some to put the dogdish hubs on. And I might even go white

Since your running 3" springs and crossover,.... do you think it would work to run those 3" ers with zero rate and move the axle up 1.5-2" with the x-over? Any issues you can see arising?

I had 4" springs and zero rates on my 87 Jimmy with 1 tons and crossover with no issues. Front axle was moved 1.5" forward. Only issue was uptravel, which was easily fixed with bumpstops.

I sold the wheels over the summer, they're 16.5" diameter and accept the 12" dog dish. If you want 16's in that width you may want to call these guys http://www.wheelvintiques.com/wheels/truck/82-series-o-e-wheel-black-8-lug.html
