Pulled this from my truck to swap in an 8.1. Need to sell ASAP to fund parts for new swap. Runs strong, would drive anywhere, any distance worry free. Was my daily driver till I couldn't afford the gas. :P Comes with everything. Computer, harness, starter, brackets, accessories, alternator, manifolds, auto trans flex-plate, etc. Everything you'd need. I'm not keeping any of it. My truck is a '90 V3500, the engine came from a '92 Suburban. Mileage unknown. I bought the truck from Eddie D., the son of Noel "Dozer" Chadbourne. It already had the 454 swapped in. I will direct Eddie to this thread if any other info/history is needed on the motor.

Alt is 140amp powermaster. Ignition module is new, coil is an MSD unit. Plugs and plug wires are new too. Starter is newer.

It only had one o2 sensor, I'll include the piece of exhaust tubing with sensor in it as well as a single flowmaster 40 series muffler.

Has engine oil cooler hookups.

I broke a couple of the sensors on the block while pulling it out, knock sensor (i think?) and one other. Will need to replace those.

It's gonna need a new water pump, as one of the accessory bolt holes/tabs is broken. Didn't know that till I started pulling it apart.

Open to trades for things like an 8.1 harness, ECU, pedal, accessories (alt/power steering etc), brackets, and/or complete and in good shape dash and instrument cluster from an 01-06? whatever is the appropriate year, truck/burb/avalance etc.

Trade for the above stuff + cash, or straight cash only. No trades for anything else.

Located in Grass Valley, CA. I can deliver within 40-50 miles or so, or pick up is an option too.

I'll toss in a set of 30 spline hubs, stub axles and u-joints for a D60, 1 dana 60 and 2 14bff dif rings, 3/8" thick, with holes, ready to build a diff covers off of. A complete and ready to run 14bff 3/8" thick cover. Ugly as hell, looks like a cake pan. I have some random D60 kingpin rebuild parts too. A couple king pins, plastic bushings, springs, caps, bolts etc. A good '98 vortec 350 block, no intake or oil pan, has valve covers. The stand it's currently sitting on will go with it too. I might have some other interesting stuff layin around too, whatever I find will go along with the engine. Whatever it takes to sweeten the deal. My garage is tiny, need to reclaim some space and need to finance the 8.1 project.

I'm ready to deal, motivated and serious. Make a deal on 454, get the rest of this crap too. :deal::deal::deal: :eek1:

Yes sir. It ran just fine. I got your reply while I was on my way home from a buddies place, I've been trying to think of any other things that it might need while driving home.
Some of the connectors on the harness are old and the plastic was brittle and broke when I pulled the connectors off. I think the temp sending unit/oil pressure sending units? The sensors that are right next to the exhaust manifolds.

You can see one of the sensors I broke in the picture of the the 14b diff cover. I used the cover under the pulley to prop it up.

You'll probably need to replace some of the brittle and old vacumn lines. I also have no idea if it will pass smog.

I think one of the bolt ears on the exhaust manifold collector is broken off.

Ha! I found a video from a year ago of it running. At the time, it had sat for a few months, battery was dead, ignition module crapped out and the rats had **** all over inside the air cleaner. I had parked it because a broken motor mount was causing the fan to hit the shroud. This video was when I got everything fixed. You can still hear the fan self-clearancing the shroud :haha: ...that's what the obnoxious noise is. I promise you it's not some internal problem with the motor. That was fixed the next day.

I parked it a month ago, for the 8.1 swap. Other than exhaust leak, it runs just as it does in the video. Parked the day before I made this post- http://coloradok5.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3552061&postcount=530
