Racing is expensive.
Today was great on the track. Car ran perfect. I was wanting more power on the straights, but kept me out of trouble I guess.
Highest speed recorded was 107. Another guy with a c6 z06 was hitting 121.

It handles amazing. It’s very well balanced and predictable.

Do you have any G data with the old tires? Tires can make a huge difference at the drag strip, seems the same for the road course.
No I don’t. I just got that app yesterday morning. Woulda been a big difference.
That handling might be why they banned the c4 corvettes from the SCCA showroom stock gt class because it dominated it.

The app is really sweet. It is amazing what kind of data they can gather from the phones gps and accelerometer stuff! You can upload it to a pc program called race render and overlay whaterver you want on the video.
Met this guy out there. It was his first time on the track as well. Its a Z06 with a cam a stuff. It sounds rowdy. His best time was only 4 sec. faster than mine, but he has 200 more hp. I got him in the corners but he walks away hard in the straights.

My dad had an ‘85 vette with ‘96 bumpers and hood on it. Plus he had the black grand sport wheels on a black car. Read interior targa top. Man I loved that thing! And, it wasn’t even the LT1!
I’ve always told my wife that if I ever spoil myself and buy something fancy and nice that it would be an LT1 C4 6 speed.

The C4 is the cheapest way to get into a fun car I think. I mean I got a very clean indoor 63k mile car for 8 grand.
My son paid 6k for his with 41k. He is supposed to start autocross runs next year.
