I left my manual at work so what is a code 36.I got the normal 12 then 36 the 12 so whats that mean. thanks

The '94 GM Service manual says that an error 36 is an idle speed control actuator fault.
It also appears to be unique to the 454. 
Looks like it's a solenoid that controls vacuum to an actuator that helps control idle speed.

Thanks does it show where it's located.
It shows the solenoid near the front of the intake, on the pass. side. The actuator looks like its beside the throttle body, on the drivers side. If I'm looking at it right, there should be a vacuum line running from the solenoid over to the actuator.
