I agree, I wish I would have saved and bought something instead of just keep throwing more $$$$ into it. That's what has changed my philosophy on the buggy I want to. It will take me longer to get it up and going, but it will be worth it in the end, I hope!
What kinda buggy are you planning? Something like Matt's? I assume his Ibex is what convinced the change....


). I bought a "somewhat" built rig with 1-tons, cheap 4" lift and 37" military tires....and I think I waited about 2 weeks before changing into what I have now. And I really enjoy building just as much as wheeling. I think you kinda have to or else the project will derail really quickly and just get sold off before finishing. Though it is a bad ass rig, most people will look at it more wanting parts off it instead of the rig as a whole.
