96 tahoe barndoor woes

my 96 tahoe rear barndoors has those wireless thingys in the doorjamb & apparently they aren't making contact so they wont unlock..i can open the rh door w/key but on the lh side ..... how can i get it to unlock & then open?

Got a meter? Check at the solenoid to see if it gets power when you hit the button. Then you'll know if its the lock solenoid or the contacts.

Mine never worked in my Tahoe either. We just always used the key.

I cleaned the contacts in mine, worked for a while, then I disconnected the lock.
