97 Chevy tranny hesitation in reverse

I have a 97 Chevy 4x4 with automatic transmission. Lately in the morning when I start it up and start to back out of my dive there is some hesitation like the fluid is not flowing good or something. The truck has 150k miles and has never had any work done on it. Can any one point me in the direction of the problem. Maybe a filter change? It dosen't happen after I have run it a few minutes. We've had some 40 degree mornings lately but it has never done this in previous years. I hope I'm not loosing reverse gear or something bad. Please help and thanks in advance.

No not really, I crank it, put it in reverse and go. But that's what I have always done and this hesitation has only started recently.
