so what would you do. i have a 98 K3500 109k with a noisy lifter, sometimes at start up you can hear it rattle around untill things get pumped up. other times it only ticks when the engine is warm. but i'm worried that it might take out a lobe on the cam and cause more damage. it started to miss at idle with a noticable jump around. under load it runns perfect and can't seem to let any power lose.
should i leave it? or just get some one to put in new lifters? or do a whole new cam and lifters?
