I never worked on anything with a computer, so i thought i would ask. I was going to do plugs, wiers all fliuds and 4 new tiers. What else need to be done to a truck like this to give it a good tune up?? Anything with the computer need to be done?

thx mike

Haven't really done full tuneups on my own, but consider cap/rotor, plug wires if needed.

i have a 96. take it from me as a mechanic and owner. get factory a/cdelco plugs and best wires and cap and rotor you can get. these suckers are vary fussy. had lots of skips found to be wrong brand of plugs or cheep parts. dont forget the fuel filter on the frame rail. and just do tune up like any other acording to specs for plug gap. easy. you will need star bits to remove the cap and rotor. hope this helps you any questions just ask me.

cool thanks for the replys will get right. you can only get a/cdelco right from the stealership? thx

no. most parts stores sell plugs. some sell lots of other parts. try advanced auto possible. call around to be safe.

OK thx will be sending you pics of the tc soon. i think i have it done now. :frown1:
