98 k2500. SAS'd and bobbed.

Not much going on here. I swapped out my body mount bushings. The 20 year old stock ones had some cracks. l want to get some sliders on this thing and don't want to deal with the body hitting them. I've also been working on getting the trailer hitch installed. I have it all built but then I remembered my buddy has my 220 extension cord so I couldn't finish weld it.

I want your mirrors, but I like the stock ones on the Yukon and you probably don't want the stock small mirrors from a gmt800 truck, they'd probably look weird on your truck.

Because it's not a squarebody it goes unnoticed. Haha

The mirrors are just $40 Amazon specials. They work good, don't shake or move around. I wish they were electric though.

It's a good looking truck, I just don't venture into the forums all that much, I check my subscribed threads in the user cp and call it good most of the time. For me any non-squarebody build catches my eye, so I'd have found yours sooner or later...

I had an interesting issue pop up today. I went up to the mountains today and on way back down I lost most if not all of my coolant temperature. Basically I was engine braking down a mountain for a mile or two and my temp gauge went from normal to full cold. I stopped and checked my coolant level. It was full, the radiator hoses were cold and the heater hoses were cold.

Figured the thermostat stuck open and it was going to be a cold trip home. As soon as I started driving again the temp came right back up to normal temp. It stayed there until I engine braked down the next hill. At the base of that hill the temp came right back up again.

It was between 3* and 15*f when this happened.

My Duramax would do the same thing when I first bought it, changed the t-stats out and it does much better now. I went up to Brighton this morning and had heat all the way back down while coasting and engine breaking and the temp never went below 180.

What are the switches hooked up to?
From left to right. Front bumper lights, nothing, nothing.

The plan is to use one for the air compressor and the other for rear lights or whatever. They are already wired down and tied up under the dash for when I need then. just ground signals to trigger relays
